Indian Summer

Nicky has had a full five days at work this week which has been great. She has really been enjoying felling well, until today. She had a bit of an episode this morning. Nothing as bad as before, but she felt dizzy and nauseous for a while, and her head has been feeling odd since. She did eat some chocolate last night which she hasn't reacted to before, but maybe that was it. So, we have had a quiet day at home enjoying the sunshine between the patches of showers.

Claire has been as busy as ever, completing another sizable assignment this week along with her lectures. I on the other hand have had a very quiet week, doing just one small job yesterday.

On Wednesday evening Nicky and I had dinner out at Bricklane with her church life group. It was $15 pasta night which was excellent - we both really enjoyed the pasta and the price.

Wednesday was really wet, wild and windy, but then Thursday, Friday and Saturday were great - an Indian Summer. We have been having temperatures 3 degrees higher than usual for this time of year, and lots of sun to boot. Change is a comin' though next week, apparently.

My job yesterday was in St Heliers, so I dropped Nicky at Ruth's and then collected her when I had finished. It was very pleasant driving up and down Tamaki Drive in the sunshine.

I think that's all for now,
Take care,
Rick
