Into August

Well, we are into August now, so we are probably approaching the worst part of the winter weather. We have had some great sunshine today, but storms are forecast.

It has been another quiet week. Nicky has had another full week at work and is feeling much better, but she is still not quite right, particularly with congestion. Claire has had a full and productive week at University, and has been into work this evening doing a stock take. I have had a busy week with MacOnSite work, which has been good, but no massage business on Friday. I am starting to look at other ways of promoting the business, but it will take awhile.

Our most exciting news this week has been Paul and Jenny's daughter Naomi announcing her engagement to Doug, but we don't have a wedding date as yet. We have also been helping Steve and Ros celebrating their 10th anniversary with lunch and a Harry Potter quiz, along with the obligatory Scrabble today.

I have been reading Piers Morgan's book "God Bless America" and thoroughly enjoying it - he lives in a very different world. I have some more Mac and modelling work coming up this week, and we are having a bit of a do here on Wednesday for some of Nicky's work colleagues. What the weather will do we will have to wait and see.

Bye for now,

Rick
